The Brisbane New Civitas Lions Club is part of Lions International - a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to serving the community while enjoying social activities. Our Club aims to provide a range of community services and initiatives. Our members participate in various projects aimed at making a positive impact in the community and 100% of any funds raised go back to those in need. By joining our Club, you can make a difference while building lifelong friendships and connections.
Why choose the Brisbane New Civitas Lions Club?
We encourage "fun in service" by getting together socially, whether it be a bbq, restaurant meal, picnic, a relaxed afternoon at someone's house, mini golf or 10 pin bowling and look forward to engaging all members with a social activity every couple of months.
We're becoming quite the multi-cultural group, with members from Papua New Guinea, South Africa, NZ, Thailand and of course Australia. We also recognise that our members have other commitments, especially those working and with families, therefore we're flexible with our meeting dates and venues, with some meetings being online.
